Tourist resource (nature, humanities of Tay Ninh) is
relatively diversified with well-known tourist
venue, as Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh Cao Dai Holy
See, Dau Tieng Reservoir, Southern Central Base:
Ba Den Mountain with relies pagodas, lunar new year
rituals and festival, system of natural caves and
cable car system attract about 1 million visitors
every year.
Southern Central Base
The historic relic of Southern Central Base has been
categorized by Ministry of Culture as national
relic, lies in Tan Bien district and part of Tan
Chau district including having area over 70,000 sq.m
with different construction as system of trench. A
hide-outs, underground conference hall and defence
work surrounding the working area. The existing
natural forest is an ideal venue for camping and
researching ecological system of Eastern Forest.
Tay Ninh Cao Dai Holy See, a relic categorized by
Ministry of Culture is in Hoa Thanh district, about
5 km to the East of Tay Ninh Town Centr,e having
area of 1km2 surface. It was built in
1923.
In days of rituals and ceremonies tens of thousand
of followers tourists come there .
Dau Tieng Reservoir with 27,000 ha of water surface,
4,000 ha half-flooded land 1.5 billion m3
capacity. Water mark fluctuated from 17-24m, lies in
Duong Minh Chau district, 25 km to the North East of
Tay Ninh Town and 70 km to the North of Ho Chi Minh
City.
Dau Tieng Reservoir is in need of investment for
establishing a resort center including entertainment
centre, golf course, park ,natural forest park,
hunting area, fishing, bathing area water sports,
ect. Besides, those main tourist routes, there is
big unexploited tourist potential like: Saigon River
and Vam Co Dong River Route can be exploited as
ecological tour. Historic relics like Boi Loi Base,
An Thoi Tunnel (Trang Bang), Duong Minh Chau Base,
An Thanh Archaeological Site (Ben Cau), Binh Thanh
Tower typical for Oc Eo Culture ... All can be
formed into tourist site to receive visitors.
